What is Telfast Tablet?

Telfast is a medication used to treat allergies. It is a fast-acting antihistamine that can provide relief from symptoms such as sneezing, itchy eyes, and a runny nose. Telfast is available over the counter in tablet form and can be taken once daily to help control allergy symptoms.
 

How Does Telfast Work?

Telfast is a fast-acting medication that is used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. It contains fexofenadine, which is a type of antihistamine that helps to block the effects of histamine in the body. Histamine is responsible for causing many of the symptoms associated with allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. By blocking histamine, Telfast can help to relieve these symptoms. Telfast begins to work within one hour of taking it, and its effects last for up to 12 hours. It is available as tablets and liquid capsules and can be taken either with or without food.

Telfast comes as a tablet to be taken by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Swallow one tablet whole with water once daily. The dose can be taken at any time of day, but it is best to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistency. If you miss a dose, you can take it as soon as you remember, unless it is close to the time for your next dose, in which case you should just skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

The inactive ingredients are Hypromellose, maize starch, Macrogol, microcrystalline cellulose, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Red iron oxide, croscarmellose sodium, Povidone, Yellow iron oxide, Magnesium stearate and Titanium dioxide.
